Finger-hole trumpet.

Technical description: Brass, 'pretzel' or 'serpentine' form with two loops and four ferrules; the bell attached by circumferential tabbed seam and with minimal bell flare. With alternative tuning shank, two single-coil tuning crooks and one two-coil tuning crook for modern (A?=|440|Hz) and 'baroque' (A?=|415|Hz) pitches; the shank or crook restrained by ligature screw on shank/crook receiver. With four finger-holes, filled with screw plugs when not in use. Loosely based on the trumpet made by Anton Schnitzer in 1585 that was donated by Bendinelli to the Accademia Filarmonica in Verona in 1614 but narrower bore.; Nominal pitch: 7-ft D / 8-ft C.; Type or system: 4-hole Bendinelli model.; ; ; ; Usable pitch: Built for use at A?=|415|Hz and at A?=|440|Hz.; Performance characteristics: holes work best in baroque C.
