Autoharp
This is a small autoharp made of dark stained laminated wood. The instrument is capable of playing only three chords; C, D7, and G (I, V7 of V, and V in C maj.) Attached to the top of the soundboard under the strings, is a card with string numbers, the names of the notes in both German and solfège, and their corresponding notation. This suggests that the instrument was intended to play individual notes as well as chordal accompaniment. Decal of red roses on soundboard.
