Baritone
This baritone horn is silver plated with three valves. It has a floral design engraved on the bell along with 'Patent Clear Bore contesting Model Class A, exhibition prize medals awarded to J. Higham Maker 213-15 Gt Jackson Street, Manchester 72962'. The plating is worn in places. Marked on the mouthpiece (which is not original to the instrument) is 'Kosikup Regd 1 1/2' 'B & H 1041 Made in England'. The instrument was used by the Castletown Metropolitan Band.
