Miniature violin
Unsigned miniature violin with bow. The violin has a spruce top, and maple(?) back, ribs, neck and scroll. There are four ebony(?) friction pegs with three gut strings and one silver-wound. The nut, fingerboard, tailpiece and tailpiece saddle are probably made of ebony. The bow is probably made of pernambuco wood, having an ivory head-plate, and an ebony frog and tension screw button. The frog has mother-of-pearl inlay and a nickel-silver ferrule and eye. The button of the tension screw also has nickel-silver rings (one missing). The bow grip is made of wound thread.
