Ocarina
This is a small Italian-style ocarina, or vessel flute, made from black-painted clay in a transverse shape (or "sweet potato" shape), which has a duct and a protruding mouthpiece. It has eight fingerholes and two thumbholes. The style of this instrument is similar to the Viennese model of ocarinas that were mass produced in the late 19th, early 20th century.
