Violin bow
Violin bow probably made of pernambuco wood, having a silver head plate, and an ebony frog with mother-of-pearl inlay and a nickel-silver ferrule. The mother-of-pearl inlay on the frog has the shape of a flower. The tension screw is also made of nickel-silver. The bow grip is covered with green tape. This bow formerly belonged to the Rev. Geoffrey Bird, Vicar of Edge (Gloucestershire), and latterly to Ernest Evan Rigby (b1920-d1996).
