Military bass drum
Military bass drum with wooden shell and wooden counterhoops, 28-inch skin heads, and rope-tensioned with British style leather braces (round edge, white, with vellum lace), and drag rope. The counterhoops have 12 drilled holes through which the tensioning rope passes. Associated with the Women’s Royal Army Corps (1942-1992).
