Bell

Bell, 1945 (c); brass; used by the Kempei-Tai, (Japanese Military Police) at Rangoon Jail during World War Two; engraved with decoration including floral pattern and two oriental lions; thick metal suspension ring in top centre etched with regimental name; suspended from mahogany stand believed to have been made by Japanese prisoner of war when the gong was captured by the British Army.
