Drumsticks

Two wooden drumsticks, 1811-1814 (c). Belonged to Drum Major John Goodger, 94th Regiment of Foot, Scotch Brigade during the Peninsular War. Goodger joined the Regiment in Stirling in 1811 at the age of 16 and was discharged on 21 December 1818, due to the disbandment of the Regiment.
