French Horn, silver plated, 1922; presented by 15th Battalion Chasseurs Alpins to the 2nd Battalion Connaught Rangers; triple loop tube in five pieces from mouthpiece to bell; inscribed with presentation inscription, and to the right with maker’s name, JTL Thibouville-Lamy, Paris, below a scroll inscribed ‘MAISON FONDEE en 179 [sic]’.
