Bass Side Drum, wood, 1810 (c); painted black with red front panel bearing crown and William IV cypher; flesh hoops and drum heads whole; twelve rope holes, painted red with narrow black oblique stripes; cords in natural hemp with buff slides; replaited drag ropes passing under nine ropes.
