Bell, brass, 1920 (c); used at the parade ground at Deolali Camp, a transit camp for troops arriving in India until 1947; engine turned inside and outside; front engraved with, ‘BRITISH HOLDING CAMP/ DEOLALI’; iron cross piece used as suspension bar, painted white, with ringing arm.
