Gong, 1885 (c); used by the Bangalore Rifle Volunteers; circular sheet brass, roughly worked, with interned edge and irregular convex surface with central dome; two purple cords fixed to wooden handle and threaded through two holes pierced in edge of gong; handle attached with twisted white cord.
