Clarinet in C
This is a clarinet made of turned boxwood, in five sections (barrel, upper, middle and lower joints, and bell), with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. It has six flat, round-cover keys mounted in knobs and lower stock bulge, with flat springs attached to keys. It also has an original Metzler mouthpiece made of dark wood with grooves for a thread ligature. Nominal pitch: C.
