Toy piano

This small toy piano was once owned by a Colchester resident and was probably also locally made. It was built with a plain wooden case and has a keyboard of fifteen white keys for a diatonic scale (two diatonic octaves C-C). Inside the case are placed small tuned metal bars of graduated length for each key. The "name board" has two soundholes covered with red textile, and the box has brass knobs as feet (one missing).
