Transverse flute in C

This is a side-blown flute made of stained boxwood, in four sections (barrel, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with ivory ferrules and silver keywork. It has six flat, square-cover keys mounted in knobs and lower stock bulge, with flat springs attached to keys. The cap is missing, but the stopper is still present and has an ivory threaded screw. The embouchure hole is oval. Nominal pitch: C.
