Tabor pipe

Long narrow duct flute made of nickel plated brass in two parts. The lower section of the body can be moved for fine tuning, and adjustment to player's hands. Schofield system. Three fingerholes and one thumbhole on the back, just above the first fingerhole. Broken finger ring/hook holder between the second and third fingerholes. Nominal pitch: F or G. This pipe was made by Jim Jones for the St. Albans Morris Men revival, and it is influenced by the pipe depicted on the title page of William Kemp's "Nine Days Wonder."
