Technical description: Trapezoidal body with 2|rings of 8|sound-holes; 20|courses of 3|steel strings running over 2|rows each of 10|moveable ('chessmen') bridges; hitch-pins on left and iron tuning-pins on right. With leather straps to lift instrument out of case, one on each side.
