Nominal pitch: F. 3 valves, military model. Technical description: Brass; bell with gusset, French bell rim; two bows between mouthpipe and valves with water-key of the first of these; two bows between valves and bell with main tuning-slide in the first of these (pulling towards bell). With ring for R4 on bell and fitting for music-card holder on 3rd valve tuning-slide. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung with alignment by key on piston. Usable pitch: Probably built for use at A₄=|452.4|Hz.
