Nominal pitch: 9-ft B♭. 3 valves. Technical description: Brass with german silver mouthpiece receiver sheath, garland, bow guard, ferrules, short stays hook for left hand, valve components. Bell-forward wrap; main tuning-slide pulls towards player. Valve type: 3 rotary valves, cork buffers mounted on rotor spindles, clocksprings in drums. Usable pitch: Probably built for use at A₄=|435|Hz.
