Violin
This violin was made by William Ewart Carrodus of Keighley (died 1964), who had correspondence lessons in violin making. It is said by the donor to be the violin in Mr Carrodus' hands in a museum photograph. The violin was given by William Ewart Carrodus to the donor, who says the measurements are not quite accurate and it is difficult to tune; he still has William Ewart Carrodus's bow.
