Ukulele
Five-string ukulele with a flat body, spruce top with central round soundhole, flushed fingerboard and tilted peghead. There are four friction pegs assembled on the back of the peghead (one missing), and twelve brass frets. Four thick gut strings are attached to the pegs (one string is loose because the peg is missing) and to a metal tailpiece assembled at the bottom of the body, rather than to the tie-bridge, which clearly means this instrument was modified at some point.
