Double flageolet
Double flageolet, or duct flute, made of a single piece of boxwood with two separate bores/tubes. The fingering is similar to that of a conventional duct flute, or recorder. In this case, both tubes have seven fingerholes and one thumb-hole. The windows are staggered, therefore creating different pitches in each tube. The lower back end of the right-hand tube has three small vent holes.
