Lamellaphone
This is a board lamellaphone with a tortoise shell resonator. At the present condition, it has nine metal lamellas (probably five missing) made of iron alloy attached to a wooden board with metal wire. The bridge and backrest bars are also of iron. The board has one soundhole and is attached to the shell with rattan in two points. The joining between the two elements is completed by sealing the edges with a dark resin /beeswax and canvas cloth mixture.
