Notched flute
This instrument was collected in the field by Percy Horace Gordon and Hannah Powell-Cotton. It is an end-blown, notch flute ("tergna") made of bamboo with four fingerholes and a U-shaped notch. The proximal end of the stalk is covered with skin and there is a small looped thread.
