Fife in B-flat

This is a Royal Marine type issue side-blown flute with conical bore, commonly called fife in the military jargon, made of stained wood in two sections (head and body) and brass ferrules. It has one brass key with flat, round cups mounted on a raised ring, and flat spring attached to key. It has a wooden cap, an oval embouchure hole and larger fourth and fifth fingerholes. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
