Piccolo in E-flat
This is a side-blown piccolo flute made of rosewood, in three sections (head, barrel, and body joint), with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has six saltspoon-cup keys mounted in posts with rods, with flat springs attached to keys. The head joint is made of ivory and has a wooden cap with fine turned screw tip. The embouchure hole is oval and the fingerholes are bushed with nickel-silver (second, fifth and sixth bushes missing). Nominal pitch: D-flat.
