Cornet
Double-coiled cornet made entirely of silver-plated brass, with three piston valves and a water key located at the first bow. The main tuning-slide is the second bow. There is a separate tuning bit/mouthpiece receiver. The buttons have mother-of-pearl touches and the top caps have white felt bumpers. The mouthpiece is also silver-plated. Nominal pitch: B-flat. This instrument is a British Army Pattern no. 6602.
