Herald trumpet
This instrument might be associated with the Pease family of Darlington, as the bell flare bears the family crest and motto. It is a single-coiled herald or fanfare natural trumpet made entirely of sterling silver. The lower yard has five ring braces for a banner and there is a silver mouthpiece. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
