Melody fanfare trumpet in B-flat

This instrument is associated with the Royal Military School of Music. It is a melody fanfare trumpet made of silver-plated brass in two sections (valve section and bell section) joined through a ligature screw joint, with three piston valves. The valves are of "Solbron" type (combination alloy of solder and bronze), bottom-sprung, with metal guides and red felt and cork bumpers. The finger ring holder is placed on the third valve casing. The valve tuning slides have one pulling knob. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
