Melody fanfare trumpet in B-flat
This instrument is associated with the Royal Military School of Music. It is a melody fanfare trumpet made of silver-plated brass in two sections (valve section and bell section) joined through a ligature screw joint, with three piston valves. The valves are bottom-sprung, with metal guides and cork bumpers. The valve buttons are of silver-plated nickel-silver. The finger ring holder is placed on the third valve casing. The valve tuning slides have one pulling knob. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
