Cornet
Cornet made of silver-plated brass, having three top-sprung piston valves, with silver-plated nickel-silver buttons, brass disc three-pin guides inside inner casings, and cork bumpers. It has an additional quick-change rotary valve with a wingnut switch to change the total length of tubing used, and therefore the pitch of the instrument. There is a double water-key, a B-flat tuning bit, and a silver-plated mouthpiece. Nominal pitch: B-flat or A.
