Soprano fanfare trumpet in E-flat
This instrument is associated with the Royal Military School of Music. It is a soprano fanfare trumpet made of silver-plated brass in two sections (valve section and bell section) joined through a ligature screw joint, with three piston valves. The valves are bottom-sprung, with metal guides and cork bumpers. The valve tuning slides have two pulling knobs. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
