Cornet

This instrument was presented to Charles Wilson by W. Foster White in July 1851. It is a cornet made of silver-plated brass, having three top-sprung piston valves, with horizontal screw going through valve casings, and cork bumpers. There is a silver plated mouthpiece and a B-flat bit. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
