Guitar

The front of the guitar is made of spruce. The two-piece back and ribs are made of rosewood. Both the neck and the pegbox are made of mahogany. The soundhole is embellished with various strips of purfling, as is the outline of the front. The bridge and bridge pins are made from ebony. The pegbox holds two sets of engraved brass tuning machines with three bone tuners each. The label reads: 'Louis Panormo the only maker of guitars in the Spanish Style 46 High Street, Bloomsbury' London no. 2285 year 1848'
