Small organ (portable). In rectangular mahogany case. 4 wooden panels in front filled with gilded pipes (3-11-11-3) on red ground. Prominent upper cornice, otherwise very restrained. Inscription on right side: "This organ commemorates Sir Edward Cuthbert Bairstow, Doctor and Professor of Music at the University of Durham, Hon. D. Mus. Oxon, Litt D.Leeds: FRCO. Eminent alike as teacher and composer: a man beloved." Date of manufacture: 1801. Maker: H.C.Lincoln, organ maker to the Prince Regent.
