Double clarinet
Two idioglottal clarinets, each one a narrow pipe of bamboo. The proximal end of each pipe is stopped by a node and has a downcut idioglottal reed immediately below. The finger holes are carved and burnt into the front surface, five into one and four into the other. The clarinets may be a pair, designed to be played simultaneously by one player.
