Sarangi
Sarangi and bow. The back, neck and pegbox of the sarangai are carved from a single piece of wood. The membrane is pegged and glued to the resonator. Four large pegs fit into the peg-box. There are currently only two bowed gut strings. Eleven wire sympathetic strings pegged to the side of the neck. Ivory bridge and nut. Purchased in a sale at Steven's.
