Dulcimer

Quadrangular stringed instrument in a grained wooden case. The two sides slope inwards and have, on the right a triple row of pegs and on the left rows of pins. The strings are stretched across a bridge supported on six uprights in groups of three. Three strings go over the bridge and three underneath. The sound box is painted green with gilt decoration and has two sound holes.
