Trompe de Chasse, triple coiled with mouthpiece. 'French trompe de chasse or hunting horn, marked 'Gautrot Brevette, Paris, c.1880'. Bought September 1935, Southwold' (M. Jessup). Previously also associated with inventory numbers SNO.MC.185 and SNO.MC.4542. Recorded on Galpin list as 51.
