Mahogany French harp with two gilded lions masks. 'French harp c.1800 with two gilded heads at the top of the pillar. 32 strings. Restrung in 1976.' (M Jessup). Previously also catalogued as SNO.MC.187, by A. de la Mare, whilst SNO.MC.98 was described as an 'Irish' harp but otherwise similar to SNO.MC.187; hence record now consolidated as SNO.MC.98).
