Concert flute by Willis and Co (1825-40), marked 'Willis and Co, 55 St James's St London, No 784' and Royal Arms. c.1830. Ebony with ivory mounts, four silver keys. Head joint lined in silver. Tuner loose, cork wedged. Good condition. 'Flute in D by Willis and Co., 55 St James' Street, London, No.734 also with Royal Arms. Made in ebony with ivory mounts and 4 round silver keys' (M. Jessup).
