Slide trumpet

Slide trumpet in F. Brass with silver plating. Slide on rear branch, operated by rod connected centrally to three braces. Elastic cord return mechanism within the central rod. The rod has a finger plate at the lower end. Front branch is angled to the right to avoid the bell. Mouthpiece receiver chased with floral designs and triple boss embossed with similar designs. With four crooks for E, E flat, D and C, and four tuning shanks. In a leather case with the valve F trumpet 1075.2. The case also contains four mouthpieces, probably not original. Bell stamped: W. BROWN & SONS/Makers/London
