Spike fiddle; jinghu; bow
Jinghu, spike fiddle, and bow. The cylindrical wooden body has a snake-skin table, secured by a black textile binding. The neck is a bamboo stick carrying two fluted pegs for two silk strings. The neck is encircled with three textile bindings, one on each side of the pegs and one between them. The strings are attached to the distal end of the stick where it emerges at the base of the body, forming the spike. Bow with black horsehair.
