Ophicleide
Tenor ophicleide in E flat. Copper body with brass keys, bell garland and ferrules. Eleven keys, pillar mounted with flat springs and circular flat flaps. Modifications to standard system include long G-sharp key for left thumb. Sling hook. Crook missing. Key flaps are stamped with numbers 1 -11 (flap of number 3 is missing). Bell garland stamped: KOHLER/HENRIETTA St./COVENT GARDEN/LONDON; and is also hand engraved: Royl. Marc. Artillery/No. 15
