Bell-lyra; lyra glockenspiel
Bell-lyra, lyra glockenspiel. Nickel-silver plated lyre-shaped frame with twenty-four steel bars suspended within it (three bars loose). The bars are held with both string and copper wire. They are flat on the struck side, and slightly concave on the other. Each bar has two small holes for attachment to the frame. Some bars have note names stamped on the surface and some are stamped: 'AG'.
