Cor anglais
Cor anglais, english horn. Angular, knee-joint configuration. Stained boxwood body. Ivory ferrules. Two block mounted nickel silver keys with circular flat flaps and leather pads. Four joints: upper joint, knee, lower joint and bell. Lower joint has unusual arrangement of the right-hand double hole along the vertical axis. Bulbous shaped bell with two vent holes. Crook missing. Upper joint, knee and bell are stamped: W.MILHOUSE/LONDON; A paper label with the number 89 (possibly an old catalogue number) is attached to the upper joint.
