Transverse flute
Transverse flute. Boxwood body. Four joints. Ivory ferrules and endcap. Four block mounted brass keys with square flat flaps and leather/cork pads. String lapped tenons. Orange-coloured ferrule at base of foot joint is probably a later addition. Head joint is stamped: GOULDING & Co./LONDON; Upper joint, lower joint and foot joint stamped: GOULDING & Co.
