Slide trumpet
Slide trumpet. Brass with silver plated lead pipe, boss, bell garland and two ferrules at distal bow. Clock spring slide return mechanism. Boss engraved with thistle and rose design. Bell is stamped above boss: Scots Fusilier Guards; A number 1 is crudely inscribed beneath this. The garland itself is covered with floral engravings and is inscribed: Made By/Charles Pace/49 King St. Westminster
