Clarinet. Nominal pitch: C. Boxwood body with brass keys and ivory ferrules. Five pieces: mouthpiece (missing), barrel, left hand joint, integral right hand/lower joint, bell. Six keys, block mounted with square flat flaps and leather/cork pads. String lapped tenons. Left hand joint and bell stamped: C/OTTEN/LONDON; with a flower motif beneath each inscription. Barrel joint and lower joint stamped: OTTEN/LONDON
